Definition




According to Ayurveda, diseases of skin diseases are among the most difficult to treat because they belong to an imbalance of all doshas. They are grouped under the name of Koushtha and divided between Mahakoushtha (illness) and kshoudrakoushtha (minor illnesses). Koushtha is defined as "Sariram koushnati koushitan Karoti" is to say the disease that causes discoloration, disfigurement and the suffering in disgrace.

 


Etiology
Incompatible food combinations
Heavy and creamy beverage (ex - liqueurs)
Daily intake of yoghurt, fish, fresh seeds, sesame seeds, starch, radishes
Excessive intake of meat or milk (quantity and frequency)
Unusual Food
Food too salty or acidic
Continue to eat despite indigestion, overeating or eating before the end of digestion (3h / minimum)
Sexual activity during the digestion
Nap after lunch
Lunch followed by excessive exercise
Lunch followed by an excessive temper tantrum or a high irritability
Alternating between periods of inadequate food intake and fasting (long fast meal followed successive close)
Removal of natural needs (especially vomiting and hunger)
Immersion in cold water or drink immediately after being frightened, having sunny or exhaustion
Panchakarma inadequate in terms of sweating, lubrication or postoperative diet
Stress, particularly related to conduct found to be poor and giving rise to the guilt
